The Fox Internship Program provides mentoring and learning opportunities to help you develop your skills, network with Fox employees, and learn more about what it's like to work in the entertainment industry.
The Fox Network Engineering and Operations Broadcast facility transmits much of America's most popular entertainment, sports and information properties via television network, video on demand, and other media base platforms for Fox Broadcasting Company, FX, FXX, FXM, National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo Mundo, Fox Deportes, Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, Fox Soccer Plus, Fox Sports Racing, and Fox Sports Radio; along with their digital extensions Fox Sports Go, Fox Soccer 2 Go, FX Now, and Nat Geo TV.
The Fox Internship Program offers a structured training and learning opportunity to gain practical experience while participating in real-world projects to gain valuable work experience and leadership skills.
• Obtain hands-on exposure to many facets of Broadcast Operations.
• Interact daily with the Live Integration, Operations, Engineering, and Broadcast departments/teams.
• Learn how to coordinate live sports coverage and daily Programming.
• Help compile daily Programming logs, Sales enhancement sheet, Producer Memos Production Packets and etc. for each live event.
• Help generate daily Status Grids and As-Aired Reports
• Monitor programming material and draft timing sheets.
• Utilize software to draft reports and pull programming information.
• Help compile Syndication data and prep daily logs.
Qualifications:
• The intern must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate student. Recent graduates are not eligible for this program.
• The intern should be a sophomore or above; junior preferred.
• Preferred Majors in Media, TV Production, TV/Radio Broadcast, Engineers, Communication, and Business Administration.
• The intern must be able to work in the United States.
• Be available to work 20 hours per week for the duration of the internship.
To participate in Fox's Internship program you must meet the following criteria:
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
• Housing is not provided, so please have a housing option guaranteed before applying.
