Full Time Job
The Unit Manager reports to the Director of Regional production Management. Key responsibilities include creating and finalizing contract attachments, tracking deliverables and schedule changes and liaising with various internal departments.
Responsibilities
• Manage deliverables and production schedules for about 150 hours of Programming.
• Ensures the Networks receives master materials for the promotion and broadcasting of the programming asset.
• Liaise with internal and external production teams around the world to create and finalize contract attachments for newly assigned programming.
• Contract agreement setting the parameters of the production.
• Provide vendors with all technical specs, clocks and credit requirements and advise on all NG technical and business standard operating guidelines.
• Ensure productions stay on schedule, proactively track and take receipt of program deliverables in NGC system & notify internal departments on delivery and schedule changes throughout production.
• On time delivery of materials for promotion and broadcasting of the programming asset.
• Assist Marketing in facilitating ancillary asset requests and delivery from various internal NGP & FNG business units.
• Ensures the Networks receives adequate material for the 360 exploitation of the programming asset.
• Update and maintain production status in NGC systems for weekly reports, communication, and workload for teams and internal departments.
• Ensures that all Departments and Executives have up to date information on Programming assets and Production Management performances.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years of production experience working as a Production Coordinator, Unit Manager and/or Associate Producer on original productions for broadcast Networks.
• Working knowledge of production and post-production processes and logistics in addition to familiarity with broadcaster deliverables.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Fluency in a second language is a plus but not required.
• Ability to switch between multiple unique projects that are in different stages of production all over the world (i.e. different time zones).
• Highly proficient with PCs using Microsoft Excel, Word and customized data entry applications.
• Quickly adapts to learning new technology, software and systems.
• Extremely detailed oriented, comfortable multi-tasking, manages time effectively, efficient, organized, takes initiative with little direction and is self-motivated. Patient with individuals who speak English as a second language and willing to understand different work cultures in other countries.
