Full Time Job
This position will review and pay vendors via check and ACH/EFT processing all transactions including employee reimbursements. Experience with heavy volume and dispersing payments from multiple banks account. Experience transmitting ACH/EFT files to various banks. These disbursements must be made accurately and timely. Knowledge of JDE and payment cycle disbursements is required. Ability to reconcile the payments prior to disbursing and troubleshoot any reconciling items as well as transmission errors. Maintain accurate payment logs, enforcing SOX compliance for all company policies and controls. Research returned payments and EFTs disbursing once updated. Ability to use bank software placing stop payments and researching unpaid items. Assist management with escheat process, researching outstanding checks following up with customers. Communicate with internal and external customers regarding any payment related questions. Self-directed and self-motivated. Other projects as assigned.
Responsibilities:
• Create payments using JDE application. Reconcile payments ensuring, all payments have been processed accurately.
• Vendors and employees are paid accurately and timely.
• Research unpaid items and update records accordingly, ensuring accounts are updated accurately. Place stop payments accordingly within banking software and update JDE.
• Vendors and employees are paid accurately and timely.

• Create ACH/EFT file to the bank and troubleshoot any transmission errors.

Qualifications:
• Education / Experience: Bachelor's Degree; 3-5 years Accounts Payable experience.
• Language / Communication: English-Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Mathematical / Reasoning Skills: Reconciliation skills.
• Computer Skills: Prior experience with workflow; JDE, excel.Other Skills & Abilities Required: Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize daily work load and meet deadlines. Strong understanding of reconciling disbursements as well as a strong understanding of payment generation. Excellent decision making skills. Good analytical skills. Ability to multitask.
• Physical Demands - Frequently required use of hands and fingers to write, manipulate telephone and computer keyboard.
