Full Time Job
Fox Sports is seeking a Production Assistant to join the team. This position will help create content for downstream clients/productions, edit packages across multiple core sports for an array of studio and remote programs and destinations (including FOX NFL Sunday, MLB & College Football Studio Shows, Deportès, Sports News Edge, etc.).
Production Assistants also assist in the production of live and taped shows with work including: logging live sporting events, writing talent scripts correlating to their Highlights, but also demonstrate high initiative and skill expanding their skill-sets into other areas working with applicable edit/media systems.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the production of live and taped shows with work including logging live sporting events, writing talent scripts correlating to Highlights and working with applicable edit/media systems.
• Actively contribute to the sports media ecosystem and have an integral role in organizing, clipping and tagging footage in both Quantel and Dalet libraries, logging and tagging Melts, Ground Reels, and Week in Reviews etc. to create a robust library of metadata in our MAM.
• Interface with the productions determine daily highlight requirements.
• Work with Regional Coordinators to ensure highlights are fed to the regions in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 1-year experience working and/or interning in production, operations, or relevant experience is required.
• Excellent overall Sports knowledge is necessary.
• Previous experience with Quantel, Dalet, or media management preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills needed to communicate with regions.
• An understanding of video editing, storage, networking, and transmissions is required.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under deadline pressure is essential.
Division Description

The app offers more than 1,100 live games and events from cross FOX Sports, FS1, FS2 and FOX Sports' 22 regional sports networks, as well as scores, highlights, news, stats and analysis.
