FYI has an immediate need for a dynamic and enthusiastic Account Coordinator to join the LA Team. The Account Coordinator will gain hands on public relations experience working within our entertainment and sports divisions. Working closely with the Account Executives and company CEO, we are looking for a hard-working, business minded go-getter who is able to thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing work environment. Time management and organizational skills are a MUST. This is not a standard 9-5 job - hard work, a can-do attitude and reliability will take you far with this role. This is an entry-level position for someone who has some experience in an EA role, but not for someone who just graduated and has not had a full time job before.
About Our Company: FYI Brand Group is a boutique firm specializing in combining and creating the trends of consumer products, entertainment and pop culture. We encompass a range of divisions including recording artists, athletes, tech companies, non-profit organizations and fashion brands. We have the same resources of a large agency but the ability to provide detailed attention to our clients; at our firm we specialize in staying in on the cusp of all things pop culture.
Duties Will Include:
Managing the CEO's calendar, scheduling daily calls
Monitoring emails
Monitoring client requests, press request calls and outstanding new business proposals are seen and attended to
Balancing schedule of CEO, ensuring they are dialed into calls, prepped for business meetings and kept on schedule
Management of FYI accounts and bookkeeping, including client invoices, paying office bills, etc.
Overseeing FYI interns
Monitoring press coverage and creating summary reports, as well as researching and maintaining editorial calendars and media lists
Assisting in pitching and securing media for features and editorial placements
Development of press materials including press release, media alerts, style IDs, artist bios and more
Organizing office files and oversee office managerial and administrative duties
Account Coordinator Job Requirements:
Must have minimum of 12+ months experience in Public Relations, entertainment experience preferred (internships applicable)
Must be out of college for at least one year
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure, who is able to keep on top of their daily task list
Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to prioritize projects and complete them in a timely manner
Ability to meet deadlines and is reliable, motivated and organized
Must have proven writing skills, as well as excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
