About Us:
Ezra Productions is an award-winning, woman-owned creative agency and video production company based in Los Angeles and?New York. We create visually stunning, emotionally compelling, intellectually engaging content that captures the hearts and minds of our clients' target audience. We offer video production, branding, graphic design, web design, and photography.
We are a small but rapidly growing agency working out of our beautiful shared office spaces in Los Angeles and New York. We are open to you working part-time from home and part-time from the office.
Our mission is to collaborate with purpose-driven brands to translate their business goals into fresh, creative content that drives positive change and financial growth. We are passionate about social justice, and we work hard to empower women, minorities, and young people to thrive in the production industry.
About the Job:
Ezra Productions is looking for an experienced, HUNGRY Creative Producer with a strong coordination background to help ideate, develop, pitch, and execute video projects (and branding, web design, photography, and graphic design projects if possible) for our clients and prospects.
You will be working directly with the CEO, who travels between LA and New York. The job will require flexibility and the ability to work nights and weekends as needed for project-based deadlines (especially at the beginning).
You should have an entrepreneurial mindset that's equally strong in the ideation phase as the execution phase. You should love thinking with both sides of your brain, and be a natural problem solver.
Specific responsibilities include:
-Creating beautiful and smart presentations and budgets (of $5,000-$250,000) and managing them from concept to delivery
-Sourcing, vetting, and hiring contractors using your ever expanding rolodex of directors, cinematographers, editors, writers, art directors, web designers, graphic designers, photographers, and other brilliant creatives, at a moment's notice
-Creating, reviewing and managing bids, budgets, and schedules
-Liaising with clients and vendors to ensure that all projects meet or exceed creative and budgetary requirements
-For video production: facilitating auditions; scouting, securing, and permitting locations; sourcing and setting up accounts with vendors
-Drafting and distributing contracts for independent contractors and clients
-Prioritizing and managing multiple projects at once (both internal and external)
-Tracking sales and expenses and completing monthly finance reconciliations
-Maintaining internal production tracking calendars and tracking drafts and deliveries
-Hiring and supervising interns
-Managing equipment inventory
-Submitting work for industry awards
We all wear many hats, and you'd be expected to do the same without ego. You will work on a variety of projects, you'll have a lot of ''first times,'' and you'll approach it with grace and composure
You love business, communications, advertising, marketing, digital media of all kinds, and making clients happy. You should keep up-to-date with successful advertising and marketing and advertising videos and campaigns.
The position will start out as temporary because...why get married before going on a few dates? We are really looking for the right person who is as passionate about the business as we are.
Other Skills: Writing, directing, cinematography, editing, animating, branding, web design, SEO, and other design and marketing skills would be a welcome addition.
Your Personality: Razor-sharp, professional, polished, friendly, outgoing, empathetic, trustworthy, extremely detail oriented, witty, eager, hungry, a ''no-task-too-small'' attitude, passionate, and tending towards perfectionism but knows when to let go.
Your Aesthetic: Clean, modern, high-end, fashion-forward.
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience
Experience producing projects with budgets from $5,000 to $250,000
Excellent math skills
Proficiency in the Adobe and Microsoft suites
Clear and eloquent communicator (both written and verbal)
Ability to work independently
Desire to make the world a better place
Great attitude
The ability to prioritize multi-task
Flexible schedule (available on nights and weekends if need be)
