Full Time Job
Responsible for development and production of non-scripted programming, including but not limited to ongoing non-scripted series, late night programming, documentaries, comedy specials and unique one-off event programming. Identify properties and projects, evaluate pitches and submissions and recommend and develop new business opportunities for non-scripted programming. Oversee physical pre-production, production and post-production of non-scripted programming. Help strategize long-term programming goals and communicate them internally and to the creative community.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Deliver high-end, premium ongoing series, specials and documentary projects
• Oversee physical pre-production, production and post-production of non-scripted programming
• Develop and manage relationships with agents, managers, producers and talent to communicate the Network’s brand and mandate
• Work diligently to promote an inclusive, positive and success-oriented environment and contribute to the creative efforts of the company as a whole
• Strategize withthe EVP of Original Programming on projects and programming
• Collaborate with key constituents within and outside of EPIX on all programming related issues, ensuring brand quality and consistency
• Initiate, manage and collaborate with all EPIX departments on affiliate marketing requests, press, online, consumer marketing, on air promotions, digital, research, promotions marketing, and more
• Work closely with the non-scripted group at MGM as well as other studios, production companies and independent parties to build a robust non-scripted slate
Basic Qualifications
SKILL REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
• Bachelors or higher level degree
• 10 years programming and significant production experience
• Established and reliable relationships within the creative community
• Strong talent management skills with ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and deadlines
• Proven leadership and consensus building skills; ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships within individual projects and throughout the wider company
