Coordinator, Original Programming (Non-Scripted)
The primary function of this position is to provide daily support to the Original Programming team with a focus on non-scripted originals including documentaries, live comedy, music and sporting events.
Basic Qualifications
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative:
• Schedule meetings, phone calls, and conference calls for SVP, Original Programming and Senior Director of Original Programming.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, book conference rooms, set dial in numbers, keep managers on schedule, register and greet guests, and remain flexible
• Answer phones and prep calls
• Prepare agenda, handouts, and visual clips for meetings and conference calls
• Book travel and cars
• Prepare T&E for Executives
• Order office supplies for department
• Mail/messenger packages
• Reserve screening room for group screenings (along with testing equipment for screenings)
• Oversee catering for special meetings/internal events
• Organize invitee lists for external screenings
• Keep contacts up to date for executives
• Assist EVP, Original Programming as needed
Coordinator:
• Support entire Original Programming Department in execution of non-scripted originals
• Oversee Blu-ray duplication and Blu-ray library of concerts, documentaries, and specials (including adding EPIX branding to Blu-rays, if applicable)
• Work with Creative to create disk art and cover art for Blu-rays
• Track and follow up with Filmmakers on paper deliverables (clearance log, music clearance sheet, etc.)
• Oversee the QC process of final deliverables in partnership with Program Operations
• Order posters for Originals
• Collect and distribute Metadata for originals
• Update Originals Documents (Summary Grids, Events Grids, etc.)
• Assist with keeping the OP inventory closet organized and stocked
• Review rough and fine cuts, provide feedback and notes to executives
• Oversee the development pitch grid by creating agendas and facilitating development meetings
• Participate in brainstorm meetings
• Q/C Blu-rays for originals (Master)
• Assist the Director, Original Programming with scene lift recommendations
• Assist Director, Original Programming with asset management
• Cover for meetings when needed by Executives
• Stay updated on relevant news and pop culture information
Additional Qualifications
SKILL REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of professional experience, preferably in a premium environment or in the entertainment industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Photoshop preferred
• Collaborative team player with cross functional organization
• Candidate should be extremely detail-oriented, able to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
• Must be reliable and a self-starter with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and act in a professional, composed manner
• Possess strong learning agility; must be flexible and able to adapt to the changing industry and organization landscape
• Strategic and innovative thinker and have excellent written, verbal and presentation communications skills
• Energetic and desire to learn
• Candidates must be professional in dealing with senior, high level executives
