St Rose Management and Dunvagen Music Publishers seek a Music Publishing and Management Intern for Spring 2018.
Intern will complete project based tasks for both St Rose Management (Rufus Wainwright, Nico Muhly, Tom Waits) and Dunvagen Music (Philip Glass) related to music management and publishing. Day to day tasks include:
- General copyright administration duties
- Research and excel work
- Data entry and retrieval
- Catalog management
- Promotional outreach
- Social media tracking, analytics and content creation
- Calendar maintenance and itinerary creation
- General office duties, including phone line supervision, CD and merch inventory management, office supply management
Ideal candidates are interested in learning more about music publishing and working closely with day-to-day managers at a small music management company representing a wide range of artists. Candidates must be detail oriented and organized with strong problem solving skills.
Candidates must be based in NYC, pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree. Must be proficient in Excel, Mac computers. Experience with Maestro, File Maker, MailChimp and Photoshop a plus. Internship program will include an in depth case study, so experience with research in an academic setting also a plus.
2-3 days a week (10-15 hours) January - May, with flexible start and end dates. Position is unpaid, for college credit if needed.
