The Implementation Manager will work with peers across Media IT to drive an initiative from its inception through user adoption and turnover. In initial phases the IM will work within the Client Engagement team to identify current and future business needs, identify the problem space, solution options and success criteria, and determine how to best meet those needs through collaboration with the business. In partnership with third parties (if COTS) or the Media IT development team, the IM will assess the value of the proposed solutions, develop use cases and prioritize user stories to ensure work focuses on features with maximum value to the business that align with the technology strategy. In addition, the IM will partner with the team to develop the product vision and roadmap, forecast and manage project costs, develop transition plans (either from the Client Engagement team to a third party or to internal development or sustainment teams), and train client groups. Once the initiative is complete, the IM will be responsible to ensure a smooth transition to the sustainment and the business users.
