Full Time Job
The Administrative Assistant works closely with all departments across ABC News Digital and Good Morning America, to facilitate various digital programs and initiatives. This position supports various executives across the ABC News division
Responsibilities
• Responsible for a high level of office administration including schedule management, research, tracking phone calls, organizing travel and filing expense reports for ABC News executives
• Schedule and orchestrate meetings with executives across news division and the Disney Television Group
• Coordinate editorial meetings for VIPs with executive level staff
• Manage digital-wide meetings, events, and special programs as needed
• Assist in preparation for industry conferences and events as needed
• Manage internal communication strategy for both the ABC News and GMA Digital teams
• Maintain internal tools and org charts
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of post undergraduate working experience preferably in digital media
• Candidates must be able to multi-task and must possess speed, accuracy, creativity and a strong attention to editorial and grammatical detail
• Candidate must be able to handle diverse responsibilities quickly, accurately and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Expert knowledge of social media, as well as proficiency with basic shooting and Avid are preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills are a must
• The position requires strong administrative and grammar/editing skills, along with the ability to follow through with great attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
• Internship or professional experience working in digital media
Required Education
• BA or BS from a four year accredited college or university
