Eurosport, the Discovery-owned sports broadcaster, connects fans and athletes around the greatest sports events. Its channels, Eurosport 1, Eurosport 2 and Eurosportnews, reach 249 million cumulative subscribers across 99 countries in Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.
The Brand Solutions department supports the international and local ad sales teams, spread throughout the world, to sell all platforms (TV-Web-Mobile) advertising spaces. It regroups two teams: Business Intelligence, and Brand Partnerships. Being at the heart of the sales process, the ultimate goal of this middle office department is to optimize the global ad revenue.
The Brand Partnerships team focuses its effort in managing the inventory, creating a catalogue of advertising products around the editorial contents available on air and online, and developing creative special ad operations together with editorial teams, in response to client’s briefs.
Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Head of Brand Partnership, the BP Manager will support several ad sales teams based in London, Amsterdam and the Nordics. Main point of entry of each sales people’s requests, he/she will:
• Push all offers (TV-WEB-Mobile) mostly based on Sporting events coverage (e.g. Roland Garros, Olympic Games…): inform Sales about any updates, new sponsorship package, new tv rights, new sponsors signature, new opportunity, new laws, etc.
• Pull briefs and develop creative special ads operations on all platforms, from innovative editorial branded integration developed together with editorial teams, to disruptive ad formats.
• Coordinate internal teams to ensure the implementation of campaigns, optimization of the revenues, to guarantee the respect of constraints and laws.
• Manage transversal projects.
Requirements:
Being a team of internal clients’ servicing, the candidate will have to be very solutions oriented, pro-active, available and with a prominent entrepreneurial and creative mind-set.
The position requires abilities to innovate, negotiate, convince, compromise and to have fun!
You have at least 4 years of working experience, ideally in the field of advertising (ideally on international campaigns/brands), sport business and/or media (agency, advertiser, sales house, brand content team…). Experiences within international companies are a plus.
You hold a master in Sales Marketing acquired in Business School or equivalent; are fluent in English and French (writing and verbal).
You have expert skills in Office software (PowerPoint / Excel). Good skills in Photoshop are a plus.
You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and client servicing skills; you are very creative and open-minded, with proven track records in creative TV/Digital advertising campaigns development.
You are a digital native, heavy user of social platforms.
You are a sports fanatic and a team player.
