industries, including feature films, commercials, television, music videos and games. Deluxe's Creative brands include Company 3, Method Studios, Beast Editorial, EFILM, Encore, Level 3 and Rushes.
We currently have an opening for a Runner at our Atlanta location.
SUMMARY:
We are looking for the next superstar runner to be part of our team. The ideal candidate is savvy, knowledgeable of local events, trendy/high end eateries, passionate about art, music, and cinema and resourceful to meet client needs within their function. We
have had many success stories with runners who have moved up within the company as this position has exposure to the full range of creatives and executives and will help you define your career path in the post-production industry. Ability to work in a fast-paced
and high-volume environment a must!
Runners are a key component of our hospitality-focused service with a varied role across vault, data I/O, client service and reception. They also help maintain the presentation, cleanliness, and organization of the edit rooms, kitchen, and common areas and
help provide meals, drinks, and snacks for clients and staff. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and staff both in person and over the phone are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Barcode and scan all incoming hard drives, tapes, discs, etc. and enter relevant information so all materials are easily tracked in the studio
• Route all incoming materials to appropriate recipient
• Ensure someone is always at vault desk
• Maintain tracking of all session materials, including returning materials to client at completion of job in timely manner
• Mount and load media into appropriate storage volumes.
• Process outgoing mail, FedEx, and courier packages
• Assist Client Service Dept. in all manners of food and beverage preparation.
• Maintain studio cleanliness, this includes dishwashing and detailing appliances.
• Monitor the bays and common areas for overall tidiness and upkeep.
• Full-range set-up, assist, and breakdown for client and industry events. This includes bussing, serving, food and beverage prep, and other event needs.
• Provide reception and front office coverage as needed.
• Assist Client Service Manager with duties as needed.
• Have a can do attitude
• Work well in a team environment
• Have desire to learn about our clients' needs and the services we provide.
• Must be an enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative individual who takes initiative and has a self-starter attitude.
• Remaining receptive to other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Must be available to work evenings and some weekends on occasion.
• 1-2 years' hospitality/events related experience or a college degree in relevant creative media field.
• Interest in Film, TV Post-production.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift/carry items weighing up to 25lbs.
