ROLE SUMMARY:
This position will support Senior Producers with content updates for Crown Media consumer web initiatives. The position will be responsible for content acquisition, organization, publication and promotion, and requires experience in content management systems, Photoshop and video platform management. Position will interact regularly with multiple departments (Creative Services, Design, IT, Programming, Public Relations, Marketing) for acquisition of assets around all Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Production of consumer websites with focus on movies, daytime and series programming.
• Content acquisition, writing, & editing
• Quality assurance
• Photo production, selecting & posting video clips
• Daily coordination with multiple departments and/or show staff
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1-2 years' Cable or Broadcast Television experience
• 1-2 years' experience using Content Management Skills and tools
• Prior experience using MAC and/ or PC
• Prior experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
• BA/BS Degree

• Must understand the capabilities and limitations of web technologies and development processes
• Must have interest in social media, such as twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, etc., and willingness to explore new platforms as they surface.
• Must be familiar and have clear understanding of key Internet trends, usability concepts, search engine optimization, and web best practices.
• Must have solid analytical, problem-solving, planning and project management skills.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and be team oriented.
