The world's leading full service entertainment, media, and sports agency is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Senior Research Analyst/Manager. Reporting to the Head of the Television Research department, this person will produce meaningful written analysis and presentations for represented properties for broadcast, cable, syndication and Over-The-Top (''OTT'') programs.
This is a key position within the Television Research Department and must to be able to clearly and articulately convey research findings to all levels of the company including very senior management.
Responsibilities
Support the Research team in their efforts to provide internal and external clients meaningful analysis and presentations on program performance using various Nielsen systems.
Track programs and identify trends in the marketplace creating and implementing the most effective means of illustrating results.
Fill ad hoc request drawing upon all data resources available (National/Local) for broadcast/cable network and syndication shows.
Download overnight data and analyze specific properties for the purpose of performance insight.
Work with other team members to provide support to various internal/external clients.
Train less senior research members to aid in their development.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in television research related to syndication television is preferred - broadcast and cable network experience a plus.
Training in operation of Nielsen systems including NNTV and WRAP - familiarity with MRI, Nielsen NetViews, Monitor Plus and NPower. Working understanding of social analytic software like Demographics Pro, Tubular and Crimson Hexagon a plus.
Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite and in particular Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
Ability to work well under pressure; meet tight deadlines; manage multiple projects and expectations; and maintain a sharp focus while managing competing priorities.
Attention to detail and strong organization skills are a must.
Education
A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a relevant area such as Communications, Media Management, Marketing, or a related research field.
