Personal Asst / House Manager to Photographer
Seeking a personal assistant / household manager for a working single mother of 5 near Westlake Village. You will be managing my personal schedule and the children's schedules including doctors appointments, making sure all paperwork for school is taken care of on time, running day-to-day errands, & reminding me of the schedule and everything that needs to be done. Overseeing projects around the house that I need help with, like selling shoes, clothing, and furniture, and organizing paperwork and items for my house and business. Must be tech savvy with Apple/Mac products, television and sound systems. A production background is a must as you will be producing my life.
Regarding the kids:
Homework help: General homework help, nothing intense. One child has a tutor.
Comfortable With Pets: Have lots of animals.
Errands / groceries: I will need your help running errands, but as of now, not so much in terms of full grocery shopping.
Has Own Car: I have an extra car for pick ups / drop offs, but still good to have a working car yourself.
Pick-up or Drop-off: While I like to do as much as I can myself, I will often need help with pick ups and drop offs, especially when I am working. I am a freelancer, so my work schedule is unpredictable.
Schedule Details: Possibly would need to work later hours, and possibly infrequent weekends. General hours are 10am-7pm Mon-Fri.
About the children: The kids all have very busy activity schedules that I need help maintaining. They are all smart and sweet, only one has issues focusing on school work, but he too is very smart. Ages range from 14-9, so experience with older children is a big plus. You'll have to make sure they aren't getting away with anything when I am working.
About me: My work schedule allows me to be around fairly often, but can also take me out of the country for weeks. Your focus will be on the kids, their schedules, and my personal needs. I like to be around them as much as possible, so I am not looking for a nanny per se -- more of a house manager who can work well both independently and on a team. I have a small ''crew'', so we all have to communicate and work well as a team. I am looking for someone long-term (~3+ years) with a laid back vibe, but who is VERY organized and ''on top of'' everything with good common sense and detail-oriented. I need someone who has forethought, is reliable, trustworthy, and can handle high-stress situations with ease.
