Busy New York based TV production company seeks Office Manager to oversee office operations and support production staff. The position requires someone who is extremely organized, detail oriented, independent, personable and professional. Reporting to the President, Producers and Business Manager, this position is a great opportunity for someone looking for their start in television production to work for a growing company. Responsibilities include answering phones and greeting guests; paying bills; ordering and organizing office supplies and groceries; sorting mail; processing shipments to/from field crew; assisting new hires with payroll paperwork and office set-up; petty cash accounting; managing minor website changes in Wordpress; maintaining shared office documents; and personally overseeing tidiness of office kitchen. Office Manager will also be responsible for hiring and managing interns as well as assisting production crew with travel arrangements and other tasks as needed.
Applicants must be able to multi-task and prioritize assignments under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Prior office experience preferred. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office a must. Quickbooks and Wordpress experience helpful but not required.
