Position: Graphics Artist/Animator
Twitter Daily Live Show, shooting Monday thru Thursday, is currently seeking an eager and exceptional Graphic Designer/Animator. This role requires superior attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines. Aside from initial graphics package (lower thirds, title sequence, transitions, etc.) day to day work will include motion graphics per the likes of The Daily Show, Last Week Tonight, or The Onion.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with technical director and development to integrate appropriate graphics and animations into daily live formats
Ensure a consistent visual brand experience and messaging across all content
Must have great communication and collaboration skills and be able to give and receive critical feedback in a small team environment
Must be detailed-oriented, technical, organized, and creative
Ability to think independently and suggest creative options to producers and executive team
Must be able to cut at a timely pace while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Skills/Abilities:
Proficient in Adobe CC Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
Element 3D and/or Cinema 4D experience a plus. 3D knowledge is encouraged but not necessary for the position.
Experience:
Professional experience (2-4 years) in Graphic Design and/or Animation
BA or MFA degree in Film Production or Communications; preferably with post production focus
Interactive and multimedia design (including video and motion graphics) is a plus, preferably for an entertainment company
An eye for composition and layout
In depth understanding of color theory and color relationships
Must have a working knowledge of typography, layout, and art direction.
Compensation: $300-350/day, four to five days a week.
Runs from first week of October through mid-December, with possible renewal in January.
