Seeking an entry-level literary manager for an established boutique management company.
Literary manager position will begin with a fair commission structure negotiable depending on experience.
Company offers:
• training in all areas of literary management
• access to extensive industry databases
• strong network of production companies, studios and agents
• opportunity to work with and represent credited, working writers
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Reading and evaluating scripts
• Staffing (television writers' rooms)
• Sending out scripts and setting up pitch meetings
• Finding open writing assignments for clients
Candidates must be available to work in office at least two business days a week during normal business hours, and will be free to work from home on other days. Looking for candidates with some industry experience in film/tv production or literary management, but this is not required. Must have strong interpersonal communication skills, both face to face and by phone.
