Our company is a 20 -year-old major producer of Advertising, Corporate, and Digital Content. We are currently looking for a dynamic Field Sales Representative to support the West Region growth. This position is a highly visible role with opportunity to grow within the organization and is key to driving the business to its next level. This valuable member of the team will handle the execution of sales, introduction of new accounts and the expansion of under-performing or dormant accounts and social media accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The duties and responsibilities include the following, though others may be assigned:
• Collaborate with the EP to understand the business and align on business plans.
• Manage sales activities including collaboration with marketing managers and producers, development of sales budgets, forecasting, promotions, and service introductions.
• Prospect new venues and customers to build pipeline.
• Build strong relationships with prospects and current customers.
• Meet and exceed sales activity objectives.
• Provide comprehensive knowledge about our products & services to buyers.
• Call on and develop relationships with key corporations & decision-makers.
• Sell all key personal on major principal accounts.
• Execute plan to ensure prioritized goals are met.
• Maintain on line access and display of services for company.
• Provide management with daily sales reports, customer feedback, and industry information gathered in the field.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential qualification satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
• 3-5 years of previous creative sales and/or business development experience.
• Must have a consistent record of quota achievement.
• The ability to build excellent customer relationships.
• Flexible; able to adapt as priorities change.
• Superb customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Able to travel to customer locations and other markets, as required.
• Must own a car, have a clean driving record, valid driver's license and insurance.
• Detail-oriented, organized and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. An undergraduate degree is desired but not required.
