Busy film and television production company with diverse slate of exciting projects seeking executive assistant to producer. Responsibilities include scheduling, tracking, personal duties, script coverage, outreach, creative input, sourcing contacts, liaising with industry members, handling company's social media presence, creating pitch documents, updating development slates and various other duties. 1-2 years agency/management company/production company/studio experience strongly preferred. Job requires professionalism, a can do attitude, thick skin and a commitment to working nights and weekends when needed. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a major film and television company as we expand our brand and development slate.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience as Executive Assistant
- Minimum 2 years experience in entertainment Marketing, PR or related field
- Proficiency and PC/Mac Literate in MS Office Suite including: Outlook, Word, Excel/Numbers, PowerPoint/Keynote, Blackberry, internet, and basic graphic design/HTML knowledge
- Proficient in administrative tasks, ie. rolling calls, setting-up calendars, travel coordination, copying/faxing, & filing
- Advanced computer competence, IT skills a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including presentations and pitching)
- Excelled proficiency in social networking/new media
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing methods and web production processes
- Strong experience and success with creating proposals, pitches & decks
- Strong copy editing skills, a strong command of English spelling and grammar
- Writing, editing, proofreading skills
- Candidate must have media & related contacts and relationships
- Understand salesmanship
- Understand the importance of detail and timelines
- Stays abreast of industry trends, best practices and other information beneficial to clients and colleagues
- Must be thick-skinned, with ability to cope with strict deadlines, & fast turn-around while balancing multiple projects and priorities
- Willing to work and be available 24/7
- Identifies opportunities to deliver additional solutions and expand the scope of client engagements
- Must be a self-starter, creative thinker, solution-oriented
- Demonstrates interest in music, entertainment and pop culture
