Public Relations/Publicity - Events PR Freelancer
PR firm seeks freelancers to provide on-site support at events. Freelancers will work with the publicity team to manage press on the red carpet, check in guests at the door, greet talent and escort them down the press line, and more. Experience in the entertainment industry, personal publicity and/or event management is preferred. We are looking for applicants that are polished, professional, and comfortable working with talent and VIPs. Freelancers work with the firm on an as-needed basis, depending on event staffing needs and the freelancer's availability. Freelancers are under no obligation to work a certain number of events per month/year and are also not guaranteed a certain number of hours within a given timeframe.
Responsibilities may include:
• Checking in guests at the door and troubleshooting with PR staff as needed
• Greeting talent and escorting them down the red carpet and through any additional press areas
• Managing press onsite
