Prestigious entertainment law firm in Beverly Hills is seeking a senior paralegal to join our team. The right candidate will effectively and independently complete all key responsibilities listed below and be able to communicate, build relationships, and work effectively with attorneys, executives and staff both within and outside of our Firm. The position will focus primarily on transactions in unscripted/reality, documentary-style and scripted programs.
The positon's responsibilities include:
• drafting and negotiating agreements (employment, talent, development agreements) and various production forms and documents, drafting amendments, reviewing and negotiating location agreements, appearance releases and similar production-related agreements all within a very short time frame
• providing substantive legal support across a variety of programs
• reviewing existing agreements to analyze rights and restrictions
• primary point of contact for various production company clients
• delivering information to clients in a clear, easy to understand and concise manner
• providing additional, substantive legal support across a variety of programs

• ability to take direction and offer relevant solutions as needed
• ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate shifting priorities between various clients
• strong understanding of contracts with the ability to draft contract language and integrate business issues into contracts
• fast learner with strong ability to multi-task in a results-oriented environment
• ability to independently manage one's workload along with insight to know when to ask for assistance
• positive, can-do attitude
• ability to maintain strict confidentiality on high profile matters
Preferred Qualifications:
• minimum of four years of experience at a television studio, production company or entertainment law firm valued
