World-class Production Company in Santa Monica, CA seeks a full-time Development Assistant to support a busy film executive. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years administrative experience in the entertainment industry - talent agency experience highly preferred.
The Development Assistant must efficiently coordinate the executive's daily calendar and manage a high volume of calls and scheduling. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: rolling calls, reading and tracking material, correspondence, booking travel and managing interns.
Candidates must have strong communication and computer skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize. The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, resourceful and a self-starter. Flexible hours are expected, including over-time, evenings, weekends and holidays as required. Must have prior administrative experience working for a top talent agency or film production company.
Only candidates with prior agency, film and/or production experience in a supportive role will be considered.
