Needed: DAY AE in North Hollywood
Full-time position on archival-driven documentary project, approx. 5-6 months. Potential for longer.
This freelance position is for the DAY SHIFT.
We're looking for an AE who is experienced and ready to work in a highly organized and tight-knit team environment, working closely with a small team of producers and editors.
Must have experience with shows or films that source heavily from archival vendors. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, experience ingesting/syncing/grouping, handling mixed frame-rates, troubleshooting media, overcutting, EDL creation, sorting, sub-clipping, and stringing out. Should be comfortable with uprez, online and mix prep, building titles, QCing graphics, etc. Offline editorial experience is a bonus.
Must have Avid 7 or higher, tapeless and mixed media experience.
2+ years AE experience preferred.
We like to have fun while we work! So must have a great attitude, be excited about the project and willing to work OT and weekends if the team needs help.
Must love comedy.
