Search for Bilingual (Spanish) Public Relations Assistant jobs in West Hollywood-CA
We're looking for an experienced assistant with a minimum of 2 years of related experience with lifestyle/entertainment/consumer/technology/talent clients. This position is responsible for providing support to the CEO, as well as servicing all accounts.
We're a full-service boutique and consumer-marketing consultancy with offices located in Los Angeles, Miami and New York! We're dedicated to multicultural marketing with special focus on the U.S. Hispanic market. Our expertise spans media and community relations, publicity, events, grassroots/experiential marketing, online/social media, sponsorship development and activation, and crisis communications. Some of our clients include Universal Pictures, Lionsgate, Comcast Corporation, Disney Consumer Products, Paramount Home Entertainment, among others.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
-Serve as the day-to-day assistant to the CEO
-Support strategy sessions and agency brainstorms
-Put together press materials including press releases, pitches, bios, briefing books, etc.
-Stay aware of existing and changing media trends
-Create monthly client and internal reports
-Work and attend client events
-Monitor client press breaks
-Research
-Organize/manage important documents and shipping
-Maintain/update media lists and vendor lists
-Maintain/update databases, including media and promotional partner lists, WOM contacts, and vendor database
-Proofread various documents and assemble client reports
-Provide administrative support such as expense reports, data entry, photocopying, and phones
-Perform errands as needed
-Taking copious and clear notes during meetings
-Aid in preparation of new business initiative materials
-Aid in assembling presentations
Requirements:
-Excellent writing, research and organization skills
-Self-starter, able to work independently. Takes imitative and is proactive
-Strong ability to prioritize, solve problems, work under pressure, and be resourceful
- Can handle fast-paced PR environment
-Strong attention to detail
-Bilingual; Fluent in both Spanish and English
-Creative and a team player
-Knowledge of the US Hispanic market; including current trends and being abreast of relevant artists, actors, news, and relevant info that could support our campaigns
-Works well alone without much supervision
