Our Client, a global Media company based out of NYC is excited to add a Sr. Director of Sales to their team! In this role, you will use your proven leadership and sales background to grow and develop relationships with top brands and gain market share across multiple platforms. Your experience with advertising sales, licensing and team management will be crucial in delivering top level service to close deals and significantly drive revenue. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, results-driven, client-centric and creative team of sales professionals!
You should have:
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field [MBAs a plus!]
• 8 years' experience preferably in, advertising sales or sales for related media industry.
• A demonstrated track record of developing successful relationships with clients while leading small to mid-sized sales teams
• Proven sales strategy skills with the ability to develop and execute complex business plans which best suit client needs
• Experience in licensing a plus [music, movie, talent, etc.]
• Must be open to extensive travel [25%-40%]
This is a new full-time role based out of company HQ's in NYC area with compensation in the $135k - $180k range, DOE
