Applicants should be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced and professional environment. Attention to detail and strong verbal communication and analytical writing skills are essential. Applicants should possess organizational skills and general office and computer skills, including computer familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Ideal candidates will be energetic and have a strong work ethic and basic familiarity with the film business and contemporary independent cinema.
Intern duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general administrative assistance, performing database entry, office maintenance, tracking and researching projects in various stages of development/production, and evaluating project submissions for consideration (during off-hours). There will also be a heavy focus on research, as we are constantly expanding our knowledge base of film financiers, global production incentives, and industry implications of market trends. This position will provide motivated, disciplined individuals with invaluable and rewarding film industry knowledge and experience in the fields of film, television, and multimedia.
