Search for Film Notes Writer jobs in Los Angeles-CA
French Film Festival looking for a film notes writer; the film notes writer will be responsible for producing approximately 70 notes or short synopsis for the catalogue of the festival. We are looking for someone who has advanced written French and English fluency; experience working as a translator, especially in film, is a huge plus. The film notes writer typically works February- April as the selection of the films is being finalized.
Requirements
• Advanced to native level French and English fluency (written)
• Master's Degree preferred, but BA Diploma with equivalent experience will be considered
• Experience working as a translator is a big plus; within the film industry is highly preferred
• Knowledgeable in both French and American cultures
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills to handle tight deadlines
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
