What does our department do?
• CNN TV Research & Analytics plays a key role in strategic insights based on secondary and primary research for the daily support of several key groups including but not limited to Scheduling, Marketing, the D.C. based Political team, Finance, and the CNN executive team.
What will you be doing?
• Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data to translate into meaningful insights.
• Aid in production of daily and regular reporting needs.
• Assisting in ''Non-Linear'' program measurement and analysis of Video On-Demand, Netflix/Hulu, Connected Devices (i.e. Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast), Electronic Sell Through (i.e. iTunes, Amazon Video), etc.
What do we need from you?
• Knowledge of and interest in, newsmakers, world events and non-fiction television programming
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, as well as all other Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to master new software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Fall 2017 program dates are September 11th through December 8th.
• Interns are paid at minimum-wage based on location and relocation is not provided.
• Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled or within 6 months post-graduation. Most positions are targeted to upperclassmen and graduate students.
