Full Time Paid Internship
Role Responsibilities:
• The Product Management intern will work on the B2B Product team, focusing on our brands ZDNet.com, TechRepublic.com and TechProResearch.com
• Assisting in testing and QA of a range of projects
• Managing small to mid-size projects independently to completion including writing one pagers, spec documents, developing wire-frames etc, and assisting with documentation for larger projects with the B2B product managers
• Involvement in brainstorming, problem resolution for existing products as required
The product management intern will work on a project which will review a page type or section of our sites, looking at data user behavior, competitive analysis, and prepare recommendations for changes that will improve the UX and the user engagement on that page type or site section. The product management intern will then manage a project deploying tests and successful changes to that page/site section.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Combination of education and experience in project management/product management
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• We are seeking a self-starter who has a genuine interest in product management, business technology and is actively pursuing a career in product management
• Experience with Google Apps is a plus
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word, experience with Google Apps is a plus
• 3.0 GPA or above
• Experience with bug tracking systems an advantage
• Experience working on technical projects and websites an advantage
Additional Requirements:
• Intern must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Must be at least 18 years old
