General Job Description:
CBS-58 seeks an experienced Reporter to complement our news team. Responsibilities are primarily reporting, but may include acting as an MMJ occasionally. This job requires a self-starter with good news judgment, strong writing ability and solid live skills. We are looking for a storyteller.
Contribute to our website and social media platforms.
Other duties, as assigned.
3 plus years reporting experience and a degree in Journalism or related field required.
Flexible in scheduling
Must have valid Driver's License and insurability.
Must have strong live skills and the ability to research, write, shoot, and edit daily news stories under deadline pressure.
Must also have a strong understanding of multi-platform journalism including how to shoot, write and edit stories, video and photographs for the web and social media.
