Full Time Job
Seeking an exceptional, highly motivated, and detail oriented assistant to support a busy Theatrical / Legit department. ***Agency or management assistant (or qualified intern) experience is highly encouraged, with solid references.
We are looking to fill this position immediately.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of the basic casting process (Breakdowns, submissions, scheduling, sides, etc.)
Phone reception experience
Interest in a full-time position with at least a one-year commitment, to start immediately
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Tech-savvy, Mac knowledge, computer proficiency
Basic knowledge of existing television series
Interest in film directors/producers
Knowledge of the Broadway market (dust off that theatre degree; you'll need it)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative duties required to keep a busy theatrical department functioning, including, but not limited to:
Facilitation of talent audition appointments in high volume, and with great accuracy
Managing department calendar for three busy agents (prospective client meetings, show tickets, reservations, travel, etc.)
Department phone reception (assisting callers, directing callers to the appropriate agent, handling messages, etc.)
Managing individual client files (book outs, management, contact info, corporate info, etc.)
Tracking projects from initial release to final casting
Direct interfacing with clients, managers, and casting directors
