Seasoned Talent Booker for Parts Modeling Agency
This position is full-time, 40-hours per week in the Miracle Mile district. We are a small and extremely busy agency, looking for a Booker with verifiable talent booking experience to become part of our team. We offer a small, casual office environment, the stability of a business that's been operating for 17 years, and the opportunity to grow with our agency.
Our office operates at a fast-paced rhythm. It's vital that you are a team-player who can also work independently with minimal supervision. Our technical process is stream-lined, and requires a working-knowledge of basic computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook, Adobe, Photoshop (shrinking pictures) and the ability to learn and use our customized office software/model database.
Sales are a large part of this position. While we do currently have an extensive client base, we are looking to grow the business and bring in new business. Our mission is to provide our clients with excellent service, and to provide our models with a multitude of bookings.
Skills required: Previous talent booking experience is mandatory. A clear understanding of SAG rules, rates and regulations. A working knowledge of job documents, such as SAG A2 contracts, releases, check authorizations, client agreements, talent agreements, buyouts, etc., Strong organizational skills electronically and with paper files. Ability to resolve problems and/or work with difficult people, be accountable (following tasks through to completion), be available to clients after-hours or on weekends (when needed), ability to multi-task and work under pressure, maintain and turn in weekly sales reports, handle large volumes of paperwork and maintain files (paper and digital), follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction, and work on sales to bring in new business.
Ideal candidate will be paid an introductory hourly wage during a 90-day Trial with training. After 90 days, that rate will increase, based on performance. We are in the process of opening a second agency in New York. Once that office is open, we will be offering a reduced hourly rate, with a commission-based earning potential.
