On a daily basis, the Office Manager will be someone that can take initiative with minimal direction, have the ability to seek out information from various sources and have exceptional follow through.
We are looking for somebody who will adapt well to the start-up culture, and who wants to grow in the operations side of the business. French speaking is a plus.
*Job Functions
- Oversees the day to day activities of the office
- Coordinating travel
- Setting and coordinating meetings as necessary
- Setting up and onboarding new starters (email addresses, workstations, purchasing computers, installing software)
- Responsible for purchases and maintaining office condition and cleanliness
- Organize office operations and procedures
- Misc financial tasks (Responsible for invoices and receipts, liaises with bank)
- Reception duties
- Assisting the management team in L.A
- Liaises with facility management vendors (gardener, cleaners, utilities)
- Other tasks necessary to the day-to-day office operations
*Skills Required
- Independent judgment, able to prioritize
- Recommends changes in office practices or procedures, when identifying areas for improvement
- Problem Solver
- Resourcefulness and ability to adapt quickly
- Looking for someone who wants a long term position
- HR and accounting experience a plus
- French speaking preferred
