Intern - Post Production
Bindery NYCNew York, NY
Part Time Unpaid Internship
The Bindery New York NY
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: We're looking for well-rounded students interested in film and commercial production with a versatile set of skills to help with assistant editing and editing work (we use Adobe Premiere Pro CC, but FCP7 people are welcome). But most importantly, we're looking for good people. People who love to make stuff and have a fun time doing it. People like US.
At a small company like ours, you'll have a lot more responsibility and hands-on work than you would at major corporations (We'd know. We've had those internships. They're the worst.). Without a bureaucratic corporate structure to navigate, you'll have a lot of room to grow and learn. Additionally, we work very closely with our interns and have been known to hire exceptional interns for full-time and part-time paid positions at the ends of semesters.
ABOUT US: We're basically the most bestest company ever. We've created national TV commercials, award winning films, and one really weird video about a tree. We're obsessed with the moving image and have dedicated our lives to creating stories that not only entertain audiences, but also solve business objectives. We're a small but busy company located in Chelsea, and we have a growing client base, including Birchbox, Under Armour, L'Oreal, Lancome, Chobani, Google, Nike, Budweiser, Billboard, Oakley, Bonobos, The Onion and many more. And we love our interns so much that we often cry and break stuff when they leave at the end of the semester.
Travel Stipend (that's right, free metrocards!), tons of snacks, and we'll even take you out to lunch every once in a while.
This internship position is 2 or 3 days a week (either Monday/Tuesday, or Wed/Thurs/Friday) and starts in mid January, ending in Mid/Late April. Start/End date to be discussed and is flexible based on applicant class schedule.
