What Will You Learn?
• How agents and an agency work with artists, talent buyers, and touring
• Practices in the live performance industry via contract administration
• How the career of an artist develops from day one, to the international stage
• A deeper knowledge and appreciation for music and concerts
• How ''the show'' happens
• How deals begin, accelerate, stay course, and close.
You Will Be:
• Working with cutting edge software to create/maintain booking contracts
• Working with agents to organize booking data
• Helping agents prepare for booking conferences
• Advancing shows for, and with, artists to confirm day-of-show details
• Day-to-day office duties
• Assisting artists with day-to-day promotion
You Are…
• A team player and confident individual
• A no-nonsense, business-minded go-getter
• A seasoned concert/music geek who is always discovering new music
• Eager to learn more about the music and live entertainment industry
• A driven/high-performing college student
• Someone who is attentive to detail and a great listener
• Passionate about music, new media, and business
