Job Title: Senior Account Executive
Reports To: Senior Account Director
Ballantines PR {BPR} is a bi-coastal lifestyle public relations agency based in Los Angeles with an office New York. Our clients range across the hospitality, entertainment, design, health & wellness and events sectors.
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive (SAE) in New York AND Los Angeles to support client management and service accounts. The AE should stem from 3+ years of PR experience both managing accounts and higher level management support. The ideal candidate should have agency experience with a database of close media contacts in both NY and LA, and experience working with hospitality brands and personalities.
Responsibilities Overview:
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of select accounts including writing press materials, drafting creative pitches and securing coverage, covering events and providing overall strategic input and executing campaign ideas.
• This role requires support covering media events and client meetings as needed.
• Communicate with NY-based management teams to ensure consistency and cohesive communications are in place.
• Manage, report and further develop press campaigns for select clients.
• Pitch and secure stories, features and media opportunities for accounts.
• Participate in new business meetings and offer strategic input as well as guidance and suggestions. Draft new business proposals as needed.
• Create compelling press strategies to present to clients for larger activations in New York, Los Angeles and other key cities.
• Develop and implement an integrated strategic communications plan for accounts.
• Establish personal professional connections with media and industry tastemakers for co-branded opportunities, media ''asks'' or new business outreach/connects.
Requirements:
• BA/BS in Communications/Marketing/Public Relations/Integrated Marketing
• Minimum 3 years experience in a PR role with an agency
• Established relationships with top tier reporters and editors
• Stellar track record of securing top-tier placements with resources to back.
• Extensive writing and editing experience; AP Style
• Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns
• Self reliant, organized, professional, hyper-communicative, problem solver & results oriented
