Full Time Job
Assists the President's Office by performing the following duties
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
• Interact with Executive Management, Board Members, outside C-Level officers, prominent affiliates and other high level industry contacts on a regular basis.
• Screen incoming correspondence and responds independently when appropriate.
• Answer and screen calls made to President's office.
• Support members of Executive Department and company on President's behalf.
• Maintain address and phone records for President and Department.
• Create and maintain database and spreadsheet files.
• Arrange some travel and itineraries, compile documents for President's travel related meetings.
• Compose and draft correspondence on behalf of the President.
• Schedule meetings, lunches, events on behalf of President; responsible for coordinating related details.
• Manage supplies for department.
• Supports our BMI Core Values and cultivates a culture of diversity and inclusion.
• Regular attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years administrative assistant experience, preferably to upper level executives.
• Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals and professional journals.
• Able to recognize potentially sensitive situations and maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, affiliates, industry contacts and the general public.
• Able to establish a constructive and informative relationship with employees, management, outside vendors and industry contacts.
• Able to work independently and with good judgment.
• Superior organizational and follow through skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadlines.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Strong typing and proofreading skills.
