Part Time Job
Act as first point of contact in order to secure licenses in accordance with the licensing sales process by performing the duties listed below. Provide excellent customer service to new clients during the licensing process. Also provide support to management serving as a subject matter expert and a point of escalation. The schedule can vary, including shifts working up to 29 hours/week.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
• Sell the value of music and the BMI license and services.
• Provide high levels of customer care and exercises quality standard as defined by management while managing all assigned sales opportunities.
• Act as point-of-contact for license applicants and provides exceptional customer service.
• Provide support and feedback to management for accuracy of prospecting lists of unlicensed digital services.
• Assist in the marketing function, and develop licensing campaign plans for approval by management.
• Assist in lead validation when needed.
• Provide follow up to unresponsive prospects to maximize conversion rates for new license generation and serve as a point of escalation when needed (i.e. license detail clarification, etc.).
• Perform traditional inside sales calls as dictated by the sales process.
• Update internal computer systems / CRM.
• Ensure that all accounts have proper supporting documentation required for accurate licensing.
• Initiate and organize sales calls as required, and/or when needed by management.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum one (1) year experience in an office environment preferred.
• Customer service/telephone experience required.
• Four-year college or university program certificate, or equivalent education is preferred.
• Demonstrate strong communications, customer relations, negotiating, and sales skills
• Flexibility to adapt quickly to business changes
• Database maintenance skills (CRM experience preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Proficient with Windows, MS Office
• Detail oriented
• Sales/Persuasion/Influence Skills
