Art + Commerce is looking for a temporary office and facilities manager to manage the daily needs of the New York headquarters. Candidate will be responsible for supporting all staff in office, facilities as well as IT needs. He/she will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Manage receptionists
Manage building issues such as elevator, noise, alarms, and roof related issues by communicating with building management and facilities management
Manage IT issues such as conference call systems, computers, printer, phone, and coffee machine and communicate with IT staff of parent company
Manage new hires set up including general computer and phone set up, providing access to meeting rooms, seat assignments, and key cards
Prepare conference rooms for staff meetings by setting up chairs and conference call systems
Manage supply orders
Manage cleaning staff
Regulate room temperature as needed
Update users on company computer platforms
Schedule storage pickups
Manage simple renovations to the office through facilities
Updating phone list, seating charts, and additional paperwork
Support all company functions including off site events and meeting set ups
Requirements:
Prior experience working as an office and facilities manager
Knowledge of Apple computer general troubleshooting, printer, and phone setups
Strong at multitasking and problem solving
Comfortable communicating and being service oriented to all staff
General interest in the fashion, photography, styling, hair + makeup, films industry
