Search for HR Generalist jobs in Los Angeles-CA
The Emmy Award winning All3Media America is looking for an HR Generalist to join their HR team in Los Angeles (Culver City adjacent). Working under the direction of the SVP HR, this position will support administrative Human Resources functions such as employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, terminations, leaves of absence, HRIS updates, reporting, facilities management and any other assigned tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day support to employees and managers in various HR related topics such as employee relations, company-sponsored benefits, leaves of absence, payroll, new hires, terminations, and company policies and procedures, providing effective problem solving solutions
• Administer leaves of absence and workers' compensation processes
• Assist with administering health benefits, including ACA hours tracking, enrollment, eligibility, changes, and terminations, including acting as liaison between employees and insurance broker
• Assist with the recruitment and interview process for administrative positions
• Responsible for managing new hire packets, benefit packets and other employment related information, including proper collection and management of onboarding documentation
• Responsible for processing new hires, increases, terminations, EDD forms, verifications of employment, etc.
• Maintain employee database in ADP WorkforceNow, as well as personnel files
• Assist with facilities management, including space planning, office assignments, security/parking access and IT needs
• Assist with managing company morale plan
• Responsible for office administration; manages staff of 2
• Responsible for reconciling monthly benefits and parking statements
• Basic administrative support for SVP, HR as needed
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years HR Generalist experience or HR related experience
• BS/BA degree
• Strong understanding of state, local and federal employment law and procedures
• Background and experience in TV production or entertainment preferred
• Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to interpret and effectively communicate policies and procedures with all levels of company personnel
• Strong multi-tasking skills, with the ability to effectively organize, prioritize and work under pressure
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
