AMF Entertainment (NYC), an entertainment agency specializing in brand marketing and celebrity booking. We work with organizations to engage celebrities for a range of projects including TV shows, events, and brand partnerships. We are looking for an intern for Spring 2017 (January - May). Candidates will be integral to our collaborative environment, learning a lot from our day-to-day dealings with the entertainment industry. The internship will be 2-3 days a week and interns will work out of our office location. This internship is unpaid but school credit is offered.
All candidates must have an interest/working knowledge of the entertainment industry, and should have solid expertise in marketing. In addition to excellent communication skills, applicants should demonstrate creativity, initiative, and understand the importance of attending to even the smallest details. Knowledge of graphic design is preferred, but not a prerequisite.
Recommended majors for the role: Marketing, Communications, Journalism.
Responsibilities:
Assist with creation of itineraries and celebrity one sheets
Celebrity research
Manage talent grids
Update company databases
Assist with celebrity-related events and initiatives
Manage entertainment calendar
Research celebrity contacts
