AMC Networks International Latin America is looking for a Research Analyst in Coral Gables, FL.
Position mission
Prepare and delivery comprehensive ratings reports of AMC channels and their competition using MMW; reports range from daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually as well as specialized and ad hoc reports. Supervise the acquisition of standard rating reports from third parties. Present insight to enhance our audience across our channels and platforms. Provide strategies and insights for pricing
Main functions
The Programming Research Analyst is responsible for the following functions:
• Run, interpret & analyze data from audience measurement tools & syndicated sources such as IBOPE (Mark data Media Workstation) and TGI. Supervise third parties' information supplies.
• Identify consumer behavior and viewership trends in development to be used in programming, on-air and marketing using syndicated sources as well as proprietary databases.
• Provide on-going insights on all relevant competitive developments and market dynamics
• Assist SVP Ad Sales in the quantitative and qualitative projects, meetings, and presentations if needed.
• Research and implement innovative research methods technologies and practices to better serve internal & external clients.
Bachelor's degree required (Advertising, Communication, Marketing, Statistics or Business Administration)
Minimum of 5 years' experience in media research or marketing research analysis
Fluency in Spanish and English
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and Power point is a must.
Competencies necessary for a successful performance:
• Must possess strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and be proficient in reporting it.
• Research experience in the Latin America market.
• Be able to work independently.
• Should be resourceful, flexible and a team player.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and Power point.
• Knowledge in research software's such as IBOPE MMW for audience measurement and TGI for consumer habits.
