7ate9 Entertainment is looking for an exceptional, smart, upbeat, experienced candidate to work as the Head of Production, handling aspects of the company's long-form and short-form television and digital productions. The position will oversee multiple productions and manage in-house and freelance staff. The position requires an understanding of the broad spectrum of production including budgeting, scheduling, crewing, post, visual effects, and animation. The ideal candidate will have existing relationships with networks, brands, and freelancers, a long track record for delivering high-quality long and short-form content, and experience overseeing a diverse staff of creative individuals.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee projects in development and production for scripted and unscripted content
Lead internal teams and oversee 3rd parties
Create and manage budgets, schedules, and production plans
Solid understanding of Project Management principles, methods, and techniques
Acts as the business liaison between clients and our creative teams
Experience managing teams and conversations with clients around scope, schedule, and budget as well as roadmaps, objectives, and strategies
Union and Non-Union Experience
Cultivate a positive, engaging, and balanced work environment
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5 years of experience as a Producer or the equivalent
Driven, self-motivated, innovative
Serve as the point of contact between the day-to-day production team and the project's executive staff
Hands-on live-action production and animation experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized and with great attention to detail
Be an effective leader with excellent organizational skills
Able to handle multiple projects at once
Have a network of talent (production crew, creatives, etc.)
