3d Public Relations and Marketing is looking for an Account Executive to join our Los Angeles team. The ideal candidate should have solid media contacts, be highly motivated, and be able to multitask efficiently. This position requires strong written and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with clients, talent & media.
Account Executive to join our Los Angeles office, with 3+ years of experience.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Writing press releases, media alerts and client briefing documents
Attending and running events and coordinate press attendance
Serving as daily contact with media and clients
Actively pitching to media outlets, securing strategic press coverage in top national, regional and online media outlets
Cultivating and maintaining media relationships
Generating weekly/monthly reports and event recaps
Managing daily activity and submit daily reports
Working on strategic planning and client initiatives
Event planning and execution
Must be willing to travel occasionally
Must be enthusiastic and self-motivated to work on multiple accounts
Must have existing media relationships
Must be a team player, willing to mentor Jr staff and assist on agency-wide events and initiatives when needed
Must have Lifestyle experience
Must have press contacts in New York and Los Angeles as well as national publications & broadcast outlets
Must have industry contacts that can translate into event and partnership opportunities
Must have worked red carpet/celebrity events
Candidate will attend client meetings, so must have clear communication skills
Must be detail oriented and have impeccable writing, phone and media relations skills
Must work well in a team environment-Must be a creative thinker and voracious reader of media
