Fox Consumer Products seeks a Manager, Marketing for the Interactive Games department, the group responsible for licensed and self-published video games for console and online platforms based on Twentieth Century Fox's film and television properties including Aliens, Ice Age, Family Guy and Glee. The Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Marketing and is responsible for executing a variety of marketing and sales support duties for all licensed and self-published games.
Duties
Licensed Video Games
• Act as day-to-day marketing contact for video game licensees
• Oversee Fox marketing approvals by routing licensees' marketing assets and coordinating feedback to provide to licensee. Assets include packaging, game trailers, TV spots, display ads and related marketing materials.
• Provide creative assets to licensee
Self-Published Video Games
Marketing Duties: Assist in the creation and execution of online marketing strategies and tactical plans to acquire and retain active players for online games. Includes:
• Coordinate monthly community emails including working with internal teams to develop email content, overseeing HTML creative with external email agency, and deploying emails using Responsys email software.
• Assist in developing and executing social network and social media marketing strategies.
• Assist with SEM, display advertising, game trailers and sweepstakes.
• Create post-mortem campaign reports for key stakeholders.
Ad Sales Duties - Assist in developing and executing ad sales packages. Includes:
• Coordinate assets for all sponsorship integrations working with ad sales team, ad sales clients, and game developers. Includes in-game, online, sweepstakes, email, social media and marketing integrations.
• Oversee client approvals for all sponsorships integrations.
• Create post-mortem campaign reports for clients.
• Assists in various activities including cross-divisional synergy marketing, PR, retail development, and event management
Experience Needed
• Undergraduate degree in new media, marketing, advertising, business, or related field required
• 3 years marketing experience
• Digital marketing experience with social media preferred
• Video game marketing experience preferred
• Online, free-to-play video game experience would be very helpful
Skillset Needed
• Must be a proactive self-starter capable of self-management
• High degree of professionalism
• High degree of comfort managing multiple projects and working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interest and passion for the video game and entertainment industries
• Strong knowledge of pop culture and very active in social media
• Extremely organized and detail oriented
• Excellent MS Office knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Adobe Photoshop knowledge preferred
• Minimal travel required
