1st Ave Machine, a production company, is seeking an Office Manager who will be responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. We're looking for an energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats.
Job Description:
- Maintain an inventory of office supplies and equipment; Ordering supplies as needed (i.e ink, computer paper, groceries etc)
- Upkeep the office and secure a proper working environment (Ex: making sure light bulbs are replaced when out, chairs are functioning etc.)
- Overlook the maintenance of the petty cash system and various budgets + quarterly wrap book
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
- Proactively manage, coordinate and organize holiday, birthday and general office activities
- Assist with hiring and training of staff when applicable
- Supervision and coordination of office interns
- Manage relationships with vendors, service providers and landlord
- Provide general support to freelancers + clients
- Client Services
- Provide support to producers, freelancer, staff when needed
Requirements:
Proven office management, administrative or assistant experience
Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
