Creative Development Associate | Content Division
The 1stAveMachine Content is seeking a Creative Development Associate to assist our Creative Director/EP and Head of Development - primarily focused on pitching and development of our film, TV and digital projects. It's a full-time position based in our Santa Monica office.
Candidates must have strong design and visual sensibilities, be a strong researcher, with strong writing/copyediting abilities. Knowledge of YouTube creator talent and platform a huge plus.

Joining the Content team at 1stAveMachine is an opportunity for aspiring directors, producers, creatives and designers interested development, and learning and acquiring a variety of skillsets and capabilities. It requires someone who is up to date with trends in web videos, viral content, VR, music videos, TV and film. This person must be able to act as both a creative and a pitch coordinator, who can deal with tight deadlines, communicate incredibly well and perform under pressure. Multi-tasking and critical thinking abilities are also of utmost importance, as there will often be several ongoing pitches at once. Because of the nature of creating treatments, we are looking for someone with strong visual skills from both a design and general aesthetic standpoint.

Technical skill requirements: Keynote, Google Slides (particularly), InDesign, G-Suite, Premiere Pro, shooting video, writing and copyediting ability.
