1inMM Productions is seeking a savvy, go-getter film intern to dive in and get their hands dirty learning the ropes of filmmaking, development and editorial team in a start-up environment. You will have the opportunity to work from start to finish on a film. You will have the opportunity to learn from the director and producer of these projects and learn what it takes to make a film.
The ideal candidate has a knack for identifying engaging content, loves to read scripts, watch movies a passion for social media, and a love of film.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Help with script coverage
+ Help with research for film development
+ Light office duties
+ Assisting with creating and scheduling social media content across a variety of platforms
+ Assisting with community management (engaging, interacting, and monitoring)
+ Researching social media trends
+ Assisting with reporting and identifying strengths/weaknesses
REQUIREMENTS:
+ A keen aesthetic, and proven interest in culture and the visual arts (especially film)
+ Strong research and writing skills
+ Extremely thorough, with an understanding of the importance for accuracy and timeliness
+ Enthusiastic, hyper-organized, self-directed, open-minded, and a critical thinker not afraid to ask questions
+ Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
+ MUST be available a minimum of 15-20 hours a week
+ MUST commit to a minimum of 3 months
+ MUST be a college student receiving college credit for internship
+ MUST have own laptop and smartphone
BONUS:
+ Experience with Final Cut or Avid
+ Leadership ability
+ Basic graphic design ability (Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign)
+ Previous editorial experience
+ Photography experience
